Dear Friends, family and Patrons:

This morning, the City Schools of Decatur announced they will be curtailing large group events based on the best information currently being provided by local, state and national health agencies. To read the announcement from the City Schools of Decatur, please click here. 

In light of the administration’s decision, the Decatur High School/Decatur Performs! spring production of 42nd Street is cancelled. 

Understandably, after countless hours learning tap numbers, memorizing lines, building sets and more, our cast and crew is heartbroken. However, we also recognize that while this is a difficult decision, it is the right decision to ensure the safety of our kids and our audience members. 

We are exploring alternatives including rescheduling performances (if possible), but this is all dependent on the rapidly changing information and guidelines. If you have purchased tickets to an upcoming show, you may credit your ticket purchase to seats at the rescheduled shows. You may also request your purchase be credited to a donation to offset the production costs already incurred. We will also honor any requested refunds.
